As Public Relations Officer for District 64 Toastmasters (ongoing.)

As Chair, local organizing committee, 2008 national conference of the Professional Writers Association of Canada.

As Prairies Regional Director for the Professional Writers Association of Canada (1999 - 2003.)

As Media Manager for the Pan American Games (1999, Winnipeg -- Birds Hill Park location.)

Working and volunteering for the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

In various capacities during 18 years of service with Manitoba Public Insurance and as a representative of the Manitoba Government Employees Union.
